Sailing around Hvar

The island of Hvar is the longest and the sunniest Croatian island. It is a part of the central Dalmatian archipelago and one of the most beautiful islands in the world. Thanks to its mild Mediterranean climate, the island is characterized by gentle winters and warm summers. Hvar has plenty to offer the cruising yachtsman. Its untouched nature, crystal clear sea and lovely coves and beaches make Hvar one of the most desiring sailing destinations. Much of its coastline, especially on the south and west sides, provide numerous small coves, eight harbours, two marinas and nearly 40 anchorages. Hvar receives many guests and travellers who are attracted by the dense Mediterranean nature, rich tradition and architecture, and nightlife.

Explore Kornati Islands

The Kornati Islands are the densest group of islands in the Mediterranean. The name comes from the word corona, which means a crown, a name given to the biggest attraction of the archipelago – the vertical cliffs and rocks, facing open sea.89 of the Kornati Islands were declared a national park in 1980, due to the extraordinary beauty of landscape, the rich flora and fauna and the abundance of natural bays. Thanks to its numerous coves, bays and “wild” ports, Kornati are the nautical and diving paradise. ACI Marina Piškera is situated in the middle of National Park and because of the breathtaking scenery it is very popular among yachtsmen. Marina provides good protection from the bura wind and has 118 berths for boats up to 30 m in length.
